This project was inspired by concepts in cosmology and by the structure of our universe. The red colour palette represents the red shifting observed due the accelerated expansion of the universe, caused by dark energy. String gridding adds an element of order to the chaos, and alludes to the tendency of physicists to “grid” space and measure distances.
